`Still Life With Apples` c.1920
An excellent still life oil of apples on a table which owes a lot to the influence of Cezanne -these apples look as real and crunchy as the day they were painted. Dates to the 1920`s or early 1930`s. I`ve not researched the artist at the present time, but obviously trained and very talented. Housed in a period gilt swept frame in excellent re-gilded condition. Would look really nice a kitchen or dining room.
